Why does my first order have to be delivered to my credit/debit card billing address?
This enables Tech Extra to complete the final stage of verifying your details, thus offering a secure service to all concerned. Furthermore, we can then deliver to any requested address thereafter.
I need to return an item, how do I do this?
Firstly you'll need to log in to your account. You can then opt to complete a return request form.
How long does it take for a return to be processed?
All returns will be processed within 72 hours. You will be contacted via email with further details upon completion.
How do I know what time my order will be delivered?
Your order will be delivered between 8am and 6pm. Unfortunately we cannot specify a timed delivery with the courier company. You can however opt for a pre-10.30am, or pre-12pm delivery providing you place your order 3.30pm the previous day. Deliveries on Sunday are not available.
What happens if the courier attempts to deliver while I'm not currently at the delivery address?
If you are not in when our courier attempts delivery they will leave a calling card which will provide you with a direct contact number for your local depot. You then simply call them to arrange an alternative delivery date or to arrange collection from the courier depot.

Go to log-in and you'll see a link titled "forgotten your password".
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta, Maestro, Solo and American Express. Please note, card needs to be registered in the UK or Ireland for order to process successfully. Please note, there is NO surcharge on any credit card transactions. Google Checkout is also an option.
This can be achieved by logging in and accessing your account, and going into "View your current/previous orders". Select the order in question and you'll be given the choice of printing the receipt/invoice.

Delivery times are typically Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm. Bank holidays not included. Pre 10.30am deliveries are typically delivered between the hours of 8am and 10.30am. Pre 12pm deliveries are typically delivered between the hours of 8am and 12pm.
Next day delivery is only applicable for orders placed before 12pm and all security checks are completed in time. Goods also need to be in stock. Next day delivery is only available to mainland UK addresses and bank holiday deliveries are not available. Please note, cleared funds need to be received in full before we can ship the goods.
6.4 Do I have to sign for my delivery?
Yes, you will need to sign for the delivery. The courier companies we use to deliver the goods will only delivery on receipt of a signature. If you're not at the delivery address at time of delivery, a friend or colleague at the same address can sign in your absence. Alternatively, if no one is present at time of delivery a card will be posted informing you of attempted delivery. You can then contact the courier and ask them to re-attempt delivery or alternatively you can choose to collect from the local deport for the respective courier company.
Tech Extra understands from time to time that an item will need to be returned, mostly due to reasons out of your control. Before any item can be returned, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number needs to be obtained from Tech Extra. Please read the sections below to ascertain which form you need to fill in, or whether you need to contact the manufacturer directly.
Damaged in transit
If any products are damaged in transit, you need to notify this to us within 48 hours. If items are visibly damaged on receipt, we advise you sign the courier's delivery note accordingly.
Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all the necessary accessories/parts and documentation.
Once the item(s) is/are received by our returns department, we'll inspect and issue a replacement upon authorisation. Alternatively, a full refund can also be requested via your original payment method.

Faulty product delivered
If items are faulty upon arrival, you need to notify us within 5 working days. Items need to be returned in their original packaging along with all accessories/parts and all documentation. Failure to return all necessary items will just delay the returns process.
The item(s) returned back to us will then be checked for faults. Upon fault being found, replacement will be issued. Alternatively, a full refund can be issued via your original payment method.
If no fault can be found by our technical team, the item will then be returned back to you and you will consequently be liable for the returns delivery charge.

Faulty inside warranty period
If a fault arises after 28 days of receipt of item(s) (and assuming its still within warranty period), you will be entitled to a warranty repair.
In order to fulfill the warranty repair we suggest you contact the manufacturer directly. If requested, we can assist with passing you the necessary contact details for the manufacturer.

Change of mind
If you have ordered an item, changed your mind and not used the item in any way then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations you can return the product. You will however need to notify us of your decision within 10 days.
Product will need to be "as new" as Tech Extra will need to be able to sell on as new and must come with all accessories/parts and all documentation. Once a return has been authorized by Tech Extra, you will need to send the item back to us as soon as possible at your own expense. A full refund will be arranged once the goods have been received and checked over, to the original payment method.
